Despite being somewhat broke (thank you all the bills who thought it would a good idea to take it all between Christmas and New Years!) I decided that I needed to get out the house. My cough and sore threat seems to have faded quite a bit this morning, which is good. Apart from a single bout of coughing around 4am that prevented me from sleeping, I had a good night and actually feel like I have some energy today for a change ( Read more... ) -

I was somewhat dissapointed bu tonights Doctor Who. It just felt like such a filler episode with no clear start or end. Fun in an odd sort of way but very very dissapointing.

I took Mike out tonight to get him away from the family for a while. Things have been quite rough for him of late and I really felt he needed to get away from it. As it happened, tonight was the first of Wiggins' Blues Brothers gigs for 2008. A bit of a way to go down the road to the pub where it was being held but worth the trip ( Read more... ) -

The Blues Brothers Xmas gig tonight was cool. Not as good as other times but then the venue had too many people for my liking so that spoiled it a little. Just couldn't let me hair down for some reason. Still a good night out though.

I am cream crackered today. Had a reasonable sleep last night but it wasn't enough. Spent most of today in a daze and I think I fell asleep in the shop for a few minutes. Twelve hour days seriously screw me over. Tomorrow I'm on a normal 10-5 which I can handle. Then in the evening, my mate Wiggy is performing his Blues Brothers gig ( Read more... )
